On July 26, 2026, Sister Pia-Marie Pacharee Sunthornpian, the administrator of St. Joseph Mae Ramat School, along with representatives from the teaching staff and student body, embarked on a mission to visit and provide support to residents in remote areas. The delegation reached Huai Haeng Village, Teen That Village, and Pa Rai Nuea Village in Mae Ramat District, Tak Province, delivering vital supplies to the elderly, the sick, and other underprivileged individuals within these communities.
During this compassionate outreach, the school collected and distributed rice, dried food, and other essential consumer goods directly to the beneficiaries. This initiative aimed to alleviate hardships and offer encouragement in their daily lives, receiving warm appreciation and bringing joy to both givers and receivers alike.
The primary objectives of organizing this community visit were multifaceted: to foster a spirit of giving and volunteerism among students, to instill virtues such as compassion and generosity towards fellow human beings, especially those in particular need of assistance and encouragement. Furthermore, it served to build strong and enduring relationships between the school and the local communities, which is crucial for sustainable societal coexistence.
St. Joseph Mae Ramat School is dedicated to continuing such meaningful activities, striving to be an integral part of cultivating a society filled with love, unity, and sharing. This commitment is aimed at truly fostering the happiness and resilience of the communities it serves.
