Recently, the Foreign Language Department at Saint Joseph Mae Ramat School proudly hosted its annual "Foreign Language Week 2026" from July 27 to 31, 2026. Held on the school premises, this significant event was meticulously designed to promote and develop students across various dimensions, encompassing both foreign language proficiency and critical analytical skills.

Objectives of the Event
To enhance students' reading, writing, and effective foreign language communication skills.
To strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
To enable students to appropriately apply English, Chinese, and Burmese in diverse situations, according to their individual potential and aptitude.

Throughout this vibrant week of learning, four practical "Active Learning" stations were prepared. These stations were specifically designed to provide students from Prathom 1 (Grade 1) to Matthayom 6 (Grade 12) with diverse and exciting hands-on learning experiences.

The Four Engaging Learning Stations Included:
Explore Myanmar: Hunt for Thanaka Treasures: A station where students learned about Burmese culture and language through an adventurous treasure hunt.
Fun with the Dragon Land: An immersive journey to explore Chinese language and culture through enjoyable and creative activities.
Cool English Idioms: A challenging station designed for students to practice and understand common English idioms used in daily life.
Mystery Detectives: This station aimed to develop analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, utilizing foreign languages for communication to uncover answers.

Notably, the activities at each station were co-designed and co-facilitated by both teachers and Matthayom 6 students. The senior students played a crucial role as facilitators and mentors for their younger peers. This active involvement of older students not only enhanced the efficiency of the event but also fostered leadership and responsibility among them.

The atmosphere throughout the week was filled with fun, enthusiasm, and creativity. All students had the invaluable opportunity to engage in "Active Learning" through a variety of activities, making foreign language acquisition accessible, interesting, and a truly memorable experience.

Saint Joseph Mae Ramat School firmly believes that the "Foreign Language Week" initiative is a vital component in laying a strong foundation for language skills. It prepares students to grow into capable global citizens equipped with the essential skills needed for the future.
