The primary objective of this fire drill was to provide Kindergarten students with accurate knowledge and understanding of fire safety principles. Furthermore, the activity emphasized practicing safe evacuation routes and methods, as well as learning correct procedures to follow during a fire incident. Implementation and Role of Instructors
The activity was expertly led by Kru Nuntanat Panpanyakornkul and Kru Supang Wisetaudomsak, who were assigned by Sister Pia Marie Patcharee Soonthornpian, the school's Director, to serve as instructors. Both teachers imparted fundamental knowledge about the causes of fires, types of fires, potential dangers, and crucial steps to take upon hearing an alarm:
Staying Calm: Teaching students to control their emotions and avoid panic.
Evacuation: Guiding students on orderly and safe evacuation routes from the building.
Self-Protection: Instructing on how to crawl low and use cloth to cover their noses to avoid smoke inhalation.
Assembly Point: Explaining the importance of proceeding to a designated safe assembly point and awaiting assistance.
