On June 18, 2026, Sister Ida Wilanee Klanarongkarn, Director of St. Joseph Maeramad School, welcomed representatives from the Office of Disease Prevention and Control Region 2, Phitsanulok, the Tak Provincial Public Health Office, and Maeramad Hospital to conduct a training session on the surveillance, prevention, and control of waterborne and foodborne diseases.

The training was held at the Saint Joseph Conference Room and was attended by teachers, food service personnel, and other staff members involved in student welfare and food preparation. The objective was to strengthen awareness and understanding of disease prevention measures and food safety practices within the school environment.

During the session, public health professionals provided guidance on disease surveillance, food and water contamination prevention, personal hygiene practices, food sanitation standards, and the management of safe and hygienic food preparation environments. Participants also learned practical strategies for reducing health risks and preventing disease outbreaks in educational settings.

The training encouraged collaboration among school personnel in maintaining high standards of health and safety. Participants exchanged ideas and discussed effective approaches to implementing preventive measures that support student well-being.
