St. Joseph Mae Ramat School Empowers ROTC Students Through Practical Training

On August 14, 2026, Sister Pia-Marie Patcharee Sunthornpian, the Director of St. Joseph Mae Ramat School, entrusted Mr. Patcharapong Intha with the important task of leading Year 1 and 2 Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) students to participate in a regular (catch-up) training session. This significant event, held at Mae Charao Subdistrict Municipality Cemetery, was organized by the Mae Ramat District Sub-Training Center. The primary objective was to provide ROTC students with hands-on experience in live firearms training, a crucial component in developing their potential and readiness.

Objectives of the Training

Enhancing Decisiveness: Facing real-world scenarios during live-fire training helps students practice critical thinking and decision-making under pressure. These are vital skills applicable in daily life.

Developing Concentration and Discipline: Live firearms shooting demands unwavering concentration and strict adherence to instructions. This experience instills discipline and a strong sense of responsibility.

Applying Knowledge and Experience: ROTC students translated theoretical knowledge into practical application, gaining firsthand experience that can be further developed and applied to various situations in real life.

This training not only strengthens military-related skills but also cultivates essential qualities such as courage, responsibility, and teamwork. These attributes form a crucial foundation for students to grow into responsible and high-quality citizens of the nation. St. Joseph Mae Ramat School remains committed to supporting and promoting beneficial activities for the continuous and sustainable development of its students.
