On June 5, 2026, the Kindergarten Department of St. Joseph Maeramad School organized the “Little Environmentalists” activity to promote environmental awareness among young learners. The activity aimed to help students understand the importance of conserving natural resources and encourage responsible use of resources in daily life.
The program focused on experiential learning through a variety of interactive learning stations designed specifically for young children. These activities allowed students to learn by doing while developing positive attitudes toward environmental protection.
The activity included four learning stations: an Energy Conservation Station, where students learned how to use electricity wisely; a Waste Sorting Station, which taught proper waste separation and waste management; a Tree Planting Station, designed to encourage appreciation for nature and environmental responsibility; and a Recycled Crafts Station, where students used creativity to transform reusable materials into new and useful products.
Throughout the activity, students actively participated in hands-on experiences, developed observation and problem-solving skills, and learned the value of teamwork. Most importantly, they gained a deeper understanding of how their actions can help protect the environment.
St. Joseph Maeramad School is committed to developing students holistically by nurturing knowledge, skills, and positive values. Through activities such as “Little Environmentalists,” the school aims to inspire students to become responsible citizens who care for the environment and contribute to a more sustainable future.
